The Fry Family Food Co (“Fry’s”), a South-African vegan brand, is launching its products at Southern California grocery chain Lazy Acres Market starting this month. It will be the brand’s first appearance in the United States.

The company’s 10 most popular products like Traditional Burgers, Rice Protein & Chia Nuggets, Tempura Battered Prawn-style Pieces, Soy & Quinoa Country Roast, Golden Crumbed Schnitzels, and sausage rolls, will be featured at the market.

More of their products, such as vegan pizza imported from Italy, will be introduced in the next few months. “Lazy Acres is excited to partner with Fry’s on their plant-based products. We are committed to providing our customers with healthy alternatives that fit their lifestyles without sacrificing taste,” Joe Ragusa, VP of Marketing for Lazy Acres, said. “As a community-based, natural foods market, it’s our passion and mission to bring in new and exciting brands and Fry’s is a valued addition to our stores.”

Wally and Debbie Fry, a husband-and-wife team, established the brand in 1991. Today they are available in 27 countries worldwide.
