Pizza Hut has officially launched a new pizza, a dessert and a side dish to its vegan menu. The new additions are available in all of its branches in the UK.
Staggering demand for vegan pizza in January has been the motivator behind the pizza chain’s initiative to launch more vegan options during which 25,000 vegan pizzas were sold.
The new additions consist of a vegan mushroom pizza, plant-based nuggets, and a mouthwatering vegan cheesecake.
The pizza is topped with tomato sauce, Violife vegan cheese, closed cup mushrooms and garlic mushrooms. It is the fifth addition to their vegan pizzas, joining the Vegan Margherita, Vegan Veggie, Vegan Hot ‘N’ Spicy Veg and the Vegan BBQ Jack ‘N’ Cheese.
Pizza Hut has collaborated with Quorn to add Southern Fried Nuggets as a starter or a side dish. The dish is available as a part of the Individual Meal Deal where you can grab a starter, main course, drink and unlimited salad starting from £14.99.
The company has also added the new vegan ‘I Can’t Believe It’s Not Cheesecake’, a vegan dessert that features cookie crumbles and caramel.
Pizza Hut’s launch of more vegan options is a big step forward towards a plant-based future.
