I can’t believe they used to eat animals – Future Generations

If slaughterhouses had glass walls, we would all be vegan. This statement is so true. The merciless capitalist propaganda has convinced us that eating animals and consuming animal products is normal. The matrix is real and it’s taken control of your ethics, your mind, and your health.

Imagine one day you wake up and find yourself unplugged from the matrix, a machine that had taken control of your mind. The reality struck you and you find yourself being aware of the horrors of the meat industry. You witness the real world and it’s so unbelievably ruthless. You witness animals being slaughtered alive, living in conditions no human mind can bear, being torn from their howling mothers and being skinned alive so you can wear your nice leather belt.

Finally, after decades of playing a role in the torment of animals, you wake up to be fully conscious and empowered. Your consciousness is no longer distorted by the matrix. You try to explain this to your family and friends, and they just laugh it off. But they haven’t seen what you have seen. They haven’t felt what you have felt. You realize they’re good people with good intentions towards all creatures. You stay calm and continue to explain reality.

No matter what you do and how you put it, the matrix of carnism is dormant. Carnism is an ideology which supports the use of animal products, conditions us to accept that this is right.

Fortunately, there is a solution, a new earth where the use of animals will be frowned upon. The new earth is real and it’s approaching us where all animals will be seen as co-equals. New earth, where people will be gentler, kinder and compassionate towards all animals. Our role in this new earth is to be as vegan as possible. Educate yourselves, support and donate to organizations working to save animals, speak out against the torment of animals. We believe that in 50 years or so, the consumption of animals would be unimaginable.
